Any ideas?

Hello

I recently graduated and passed boards (RN) and have now started the job hunt. I filled out a couple of applications and have gotten call backs on both (but they want to interview me for different areas than what i originally applied for....i actually like the new areas better!) So on Monday I have an interview for the ICU and then on Wednesday i have an interview for the PICU (I LOVE pediatrics) anyways......what kinds of interview questions can i expect? In a nursing interview do they ask a lot of questions like (you walk into a patients room and she is lying on the floor what do you do?) or are they more like what are your strengths/weaknesses? Thanks so much for your help!

I've been asked both of these same type questions in the same interview, so just be your self and try to answer as truthfully as possible.

But not too truthfully! I once told an interviewer that I had a bad temper and was a procrastinator! :lol2:

Remember, keep those weaknesses positive!

Good luck with your interviews!

hahahaha miss kitty, what were you thinking?! lol

Be ready to answer questions about difficult pts, difficult staff, ethical dilemnas, and talk yourself up!
