So...I did it! I graduated nursing school. The problem? At the last minute my fibancial aide was maxed out as are my credit cards and I owe the school so I cannot take my boards. I have a job lined up. Does anyone know of any possible funding sources? I have been denied loans and have no family to help.

You could always donate plasma. That pays some extra buck. Sell personal belongings on craigslist, ( TV not being used, clothes, radio).
Dip into savings account, apply for a low amount credit card. Ask a friend to borrow some cash, then repay them.
Not sure how much you are talking, My suggestions wouldn't provide a large sum.

what does one have to do with another? You owe the school? So what? The state board of nursing refuses to do business with you?

In order for an individual to be eligible for boards, the school must send transcripts and verification of graduation to the BON. Most schools have a policy that they will not release a diploma, transcripts, etc., until any balance of funds owed to the school has been settled.

How do you want her to take the boards if the school won't release her records?

Since you can't take the NCLEX without paying your school off to release the transcript, your priority has to be paying off the school. Make an appointment with the Bursar to talk about what payment arrangements can be make. They may also be willing to release one copy of your transcript to the BON so you could take the boards and start that job...but you need to talk to them to find out if that's possible.
If they are not willing to do that, you may have to put this job on hold and take other work instead to pay down the school debt. I'd say see if this job would let you work as a GN, but even if your BON allows grads to work as GNs, you can't do that without applying for your boards first.
