Any experience with these camps?

Has anyone worked with Iroquios Springs in Rock Hill, NY or Circle F Dude Ranch in Lake Wales, FL?

This will be my first year doing camp nursing but I am an elementary school nurse.

Any suggestions of other camps would be appreciated!

Thanks! :)

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with those camps. You can always ask if the director can put you in touch with former nurses.

Are you from Florida? I live in Florida and will be working at a camp in New Hampshire. Definitely want to get out of Florida for the summer if you can.

Hi,

I will be working at Moosilauke Camp in Orford, New Hampshire. This is the first year at this camp. I spent the last 3 summers at a sports camp in Vermont. I am originally from the north so I really enjoy the summers in the NE.

I too am a school nurse, but before that I was a staff member at a Boy Scout Camp during college. Camp is so much fun! I worked during the H1N1 out break; that was an experience. The camp I went to was Camp Daniel Boone in North Carolina. There has been some management change since I left, but the camp is beautiful! Way up in the mountains with the perfect weather! What kind of information would you like? There are a lot of BSA troops that come out of FL. The camp is pretty well known and we've had troops from all over the world attend, plus one or two full time international scouts that stay the entire season. There is always something to do and is just tons of fun.
