At that time, news that a patient was being monitored for ebola would have produced MUCH publicity, fearfulness, fear mongering, and arguments between those who were extremely upset and those attempting to use current literature to counter the panicky posts.

Ebola has "behaved" in the US exactly as the experts who have studied it for decades predicted.
