When did you take/when are you taking NCLEX?

Did you pass? Make sure and post again when you pass.

I am testing Wednesday the 14th, in 5 days. I am glad to get it over with before I start work on the 19th.

A tip I learned this week- Everything you need is available to you at the "NCLEX hospital." The interventions listed as your choices already have a doctors order, there is no shortage of staff, etc.

I'm scheduled to sit for the exam on Saturday, January 17th.

Right now I'm waist-deep in review review review and all of the study guides, etc.

Hopefully, I am prepared enough after going through the whole AD program - but we'll see!

At least the torture won't last for long - the exam is a week from tomorrow, and in FL we can check results in 2 days.

I take the NCLEX on the 13th (Tuesday). I have practiced various questions for the past couple of months, so I am hoping that is going to prepare for what I need to do. I am anxious to get this done with. I start my job in the 19th also (as long as I pass). I'm definitely feeling the pressure now! Good luck.

I took it today. I was WAY harder than I thought! I don't know if it was the anxiety from knowing that I REALLY needed to pass or what, but I was really surprised. In school I could always narrow the answers down to 1 or 2 and always came out on top as far as grades. Maybe my school stinks, or maybe I am just freaking out.

Hopefully I passed.

It shut off at 75. From the time I left my car to when I got back in it was 1 hour, 20 minutes.

Very scary!!!! But also exciting because on Friday I will hopefully be able to say I am an RN!!!!!

I take the NCLEX next week on the 21st. I took a review class, and have also been doing practice questions. I am still really nervous about taking it, but I too am ready to get it over with.

Woo Hoo!! I passed. I took it on Tuesday, and i found out on Wed morning that I passed. It was on my board of nursing website so i didn't even have to call NCLEX to get it. I am so happy. It's fun to add the RN to the end of the name also!

i am so happy for everyone that passed. I just set my appointment to test. I am so nervous. I just want this done and over with. I hope that I don't have a anxiety attack-if I have one, I will only change the test date.

Tomorrow and Friday I finish a review course; then I sit for the exam on Saturday morning.

I just keep telling myself that the test is designed to be as hard as possible for everyone who takes it. Literally - the questions just keep getting harder until you are missing 50% of them. At that point, the computer 'decides' if the questions that you are answering are hard enough. (That is the basic algorithm for the exam). The point is that *everyone* should leave the test feeling like "I didn't know the answer to half of the questions!"

Some people have to answer a lot more for the computer to 'figure it out' - and some of you lucky guys do it in 75 !!!
