ANCC

Does anyone get certifications through ANCC? I can't find the search box to search previous posts for this subject (site seems different since my last visit a while ago).

    I recently got certified through them in psychiatric/mental-health nursing. It won't result in a bigger paycheck...I did it as a professional goal.

    As far as searching goes, when you're in a forum, look for the magnifying glass in the toolbar right under the "start a topic now" button. Click on that and you will be able to enter your search terms.

    I would also like to do this as a professional goal. I won't expect money. Now, when it asks for proof of CEU's is that the same as the CE's I obtain through WesternSchools? or something more?

    Yes, those CEs should be fine.

    When you apply, ANCC doesn't require you send proof of the CEUs you take--you will have to list them but you don't need to send certificates of completion. However, keep those certificates of completion somewhere safe because when you are audited by the ANCC you will have to supply them as proof.
