AMI for travel contract?

Anyone ever work with AMI for travel contract. I was told to call a hospital myself and they would give me the person to speak to and then keep them abreast of what was said then they would call. I been speaking with them trying to get hired in State travel job but when it comes to submitting my credentials and interfacing with the manager per them they are going to give me the phone number to call, I was told that the travel agency should be calling them. Am I being caught up in a scheme.? Help.

I've never heard of AMI. Do you have a full name, website, or state? I found a healthcare recruiting company called AMI Network from California, but they are not traditional travel.

To your direct question, it sounds like they don't have a contract at this hospital and are hoping to use you to open one up. It is a fair enough ploy, but one you should be in on, and profit from. Alternatively, they are a very unprofessional headhunter per the company I found by Googling the name.

I am sorry I missed quoted the name American Mobile travel agency is the name I have gotten a little bit of clarification from them recently since I have posted here. I was told that American Mobile just don't have a contract or relationship with the hospital. Thanks for your response !
