Why is this thread titled American Nurses Association?

The reason I posted this thread as ANA is because I was looking under ANA to see if I could find out the information, but couldn't. Apparently, I had the name in my head and inappropriately titled the thread as such.

I looked under historical facts in nursing, nursing trivia, the first BSN program, etc. etc. The point is I tried many ways to get the info and couldn't.

Actually, we're having a quiz but I have a professor whose not so great with her power points, understandable english bec its not her first language, and furthermore there isn't a textbook for the course. So the only option I have is to google the info, which I've tried but have been unsuccessful.:(

Have you gone to your school library and tried to find the information? It should be readily available. Please do not ask us to do your homework/studying for you, though. :)

I'd suggest going to the library and looking through some textbooks on nursing history.

Perhaps the NLN (National League for Nursing) would have a publication on the histor of nursing education.

The AACN (American Association of Colligiate Nurses) might also be a source.

Thank you. That's all I needed as a guide on how to start.

Please excuse me if my questions annoyed you. I certainly don't want

anyone doing my homework for me because I have been able to do that on my own for the four years I've been in nursing school. All I wanted was perhaps a guidence like to where I may find the information which you were so kind enough to point out to me.

I'm about to be a recent grad from nursing school and I just thought the pros would be a little nicer to their young. Again sorry, and I shall never post any questions again because I don't want to be misinterperted by my future collegues.

Respectfully
