ALS Nursing

I am a relatively new nurse (2 years) and am starting school for my BSN this fall. I work in a small but busy hospital on the medical surgical unit. I feel that the floor is an amazing place to gain experience and learn new skills but it is not what I want to do long term.

I have always wanted to work with ALS patients. That's where my heart is. Living in a small town I have limited facilities to work in. I need some help and direction in finding a way to be able to work with ALS patients. Any suggestions other than hospice?
