As I've noted before, Curious, there ain't no flies lighting on you. You're very observant, and thanks for asking.

A year ago February, I was presented with a DAISY award. This is an edited pic which appeared in Wrongway Regional Medical Center's newsletter:

About a month later, I was, informally speaking, given the shaft- unfairly terminated- so I carved an appropriate statue out of wood:

I needed something that resembled a microphone while making that quick little animation, so I used the Shaft statue, editing out one of the figures.

The DAISY statue commemorates one event and the Shaft statue commemorates another.
