I don't know about you guys, but I get a kick out of all the prospective nursing students who post in this subgroup about Nursing School questions, rather than "School Nursing" questions.
Based on my experience in nursing school (utter hell with professors obsessed with attention to detail), I can't help but think nursing school might be a shock to their system... ?
(This could just be my old and cynical self! lol)

Most of these members are new and have issues navigating such a large site like allnurses. They see a forum with "school" in it and naturally think this means nursing programs, etc.
If members in the School Nursing forum will please click the report icon (triangle in the lower left of a post), include the reason for the report ... that sends a message to Staff.
We'll get it moved ASAP.
THANKS!

Thank you for explaining that! I wasn't sure how to get the posts moved!
And @jnemartin, the "Hungry Mother Nurse" in me agrees! I hated the addage of "nurses eating their young" but I can't help but think the same thing. I Just wrote that in the "Petty and Not Proud" Thread!
They must be doing a general search of nursing and school and we pop up! I would just think it's common knowledge to peruse the other topics and quickly see you are NOT in the right place!!

That's why the first thing they teach you in nursing school is critical thinking skills!

I'm not a school nurse but I lurk on your forums, and I do think it's precious how the school nurses rally to help those well-meaning, confused students. I feel like you guys always have the sweetest, most supportive responses (compared to many of the more jaded members on other forums).
