How'd it go with your recruiter?

Went well! Thanks! Going for Meps tomorrow. So he told me that the reason i got result early is because i was already an alternate..

I shall be attending COT January 2017 after everything goes through. I was an alternate the first time I appldied as well. I'm really excited to be an Airman. :) Tinz101 please tell us how meps went after you've gone through it.

Anyone else hear anything from their recruiter? I'm still waiting to go to MEPS.

Congratulations!! Same here if everything goes through will go January. As for MEPS, went well and passed! 2hrs and I was done. As soon i got my name tag i was taken to medical room where i filled out a form i.e any surgery?heart attack, motion sickness?etc...then vision, Dr's interview..where he verified what u filled out on the form. Then urinalysis( expect the nurse to stay and watch you pee) then blood work, hearing test, back to Dr for some physical assessment and ortho where u only wear your underwear and bra. Its like a neuro/ortho test i.e duck walk, squat, walk in your heels/toes etc. then when everything is done they'll do your fingerprint and that was it. You will meet with the AF liason before and after and welcome you to the AF :)

No problem! Nxt step is security clearance which will take a little while..

Tinz101 How long do you think the security clearance will take ?

I think its between 1-2months....but I might be wrong, I will let you when I hear from my recruiter..

Congrats on making it!! Did anyone do their MEPS for submitting their application? My recruiter made me clear MEPS for we submitted my packet for the August board. Will I have to do it again if I make select on this board?

JmanRN80 if you did your physical at MEPS you will not have to do it again. If you just filled out the documents for MEPS you will have to do it again if it has been submitted over 60 days ago. I was supposed to get my physical at MEPS before submitting my package but was unable to because we PCS'd in the middle of this process and had to change the MEPS I will be going to.
