After all the panic and passing... what did you do?

After achieving your wonderful goal of passing the NCLEX what did you do? Did you go out for a special dinner or what? I'm just curious and want to lighten this forum up.

I called everyone I could think of. Then I just sat around so excited I couldn't think of anything to do.

Now I've begun saying to my roommate, "You know this is the first time I *name activity* as an RN!" I'm sure it's annoying him but it feels soooo good! :p

And tomorrow I'm going out to dinner to celebrate.

I don't remember doing much of anything. Make that dinner tomorrow a great one and congrats again! :yelclap:

Congrats!!! You definitely deserve to celebrate, congrats again...the feeling must be great:):)...i take my exam in two weeks...I am so nervous and advice, and how was the exam?

Congratulations! And thanks for the advice you gave in the other thread....I took the NCLEX this morning and got the "good pop up" so hopefully I'll be celebrating too...:lol2:

Psinglet, you will do great just continue to do the questions and read the rationales. You will be surprised about how much you know. I will be doing mine soon too and I have to think positive.

I remember sobbing a bit after seeing the word "PASS" revealed by my quick results. I knew I had passed and it was out of sheer happiness and I immediately felt as if a huge albatross had been cut from my neck. I let all the stress go. It was an emotional morning for me. Got a massage and celebrated with family and friends all weekend. Absolute extreme sense of accomplishment and relief!

Congrats on your accomplishment! :)

goodnursingstudent thanks for the words of encouragement I really needed to hear that...I am so nervous which I am sure you are too...good luck on your exam and let us know the results...what are u using to study?

Congrats to you!!! I did the PVT 15-20 mins after and found out I passed that way (unofficially of course) and went to breakfast to celebrate. :) With a fellow NCLEX passer I knew from school. :) But I did cry in the car after I was done and saw that I couldn't get to the CC page, I was in complete shock.

But officially, I went to dinner with my family and it was surreal, all that hard work and studying and it was finally over. haha. And seeing that RN badge after my orientation for work, was another surreal moment, it was amazing!

Congrats again to you!!!
