AED Battery

So I have a HeartStart AED and I have 2 new batteries and the rest are good for a good two years. I have one AED that the battery basically died on me and I tried to swap it with the good replacement battery and it kept saying that it needs a new battery. What should I do? Because it's a new battery and it should work.

Call the company, there may be a defect that is causing it to drain the battery
