50/50...any advice?

I am taking the NCLEX this Thursday (04/17) and am in this wierd limbo state...

Half of me is COMPLETELY FREAKING OUT. I think back to tests I took in school and have that same sort of anxiety (i.e. If I don't get a good grade on this exam, it will pull my average down. Then, if I don't pass the class I'll get kicked out of the program) Yes, those thoughts actually circulated through my mind on a weekly basis!

However, the other half of me is so (oddly) chill about this whole thing. I go through the questions and material and am like, "hey, i know this stuff." It's quite decieving, i think, though.

My kaplan scrores aren't too hot...but they have continually gotten better (although...not competley "up to snuff").

Anyhow, I guess what I'm hoping for is any final advice before I take the big plung. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks so much!

try to relax.:) dont let anxiety get into you. or else, you won't be able to answer your questions very well. bring some foods so you could eat during breaks. and most importantly, never forget to pray.:saint: just do your best during your exam.

I felt the same way before my test. I woke up early and prayed and before I started my test I prayed. I was cool up to question 25 then started to freak out. I just meditated and refocused. I had test anxiety throghout school as well. I also was nauseous everytime I thought about the NCLEX. I would just think of a happy thought like being on the beach. I did pass so prayer and positive thoughts do work.

just take the test trust me

I took the exam on Thursday, does anyone know how soon I can check it on the Washington State Dept of Nursing website? I keep hearing 48 hours...but what exactly does that mean?

Does it mean it won't be up until...

saturday (but that's not a business day)

monday (or do they count friday AND monday for the 48 hours?)

Tuesday (by 12:00 am? or 12:00 am on Wednesday??)

please help me...MY ANXIETY IS GETTING THE BEST OF ME!
