Advice on prerequisites

Published

I had to reapply for college been 5 year's, but had the registration fee voided. Anywho A&P 1 is filled. I only need A&P 1 and 2 for nursing program. However, in the program itself you take Micro and Chemistry 1. Think I should wait if someone drops to sign up for a A&P 1 or sign up for Micro?

Appreciate the feedback.

Are you saying Micro is a part of the nursing curriculum? I would sign up for Micro now because I hear nursing courses are very very tough and demand a lot of time. Can you take more than one class at a time? Why not take A&P 1 and Micro at the same time?

The six A&P1 classes are closed if one opens I see if I can budget signing up for two clssses.

I'm in Micro now and would suggest that you take it before taking you start your nursing courses. It's pretty involved. I couldn't imagine taking it along with nursing course. I also agree with the previous poster, why not take A&P 1 and Micro together?

Always seats open after the first few weeks. Especially in A&P students drop those courses like crazy

Very true have to keep a watchful eye. Think may do chemistry. Going to save life span abd stats for online classes over the summer. The state school's aren't very uniform in regards to pre reqs some want micro taken some don't. Some want you to take Chemistry some don't. One wants you to take 3 writing classes ha.

Can't you sign up for micro, wait it out, then if you are able to register for AP, you can just drop micro? It's probably best to finish all prerequisite classes before entering nursing program though as I hear, the nursing classes themselves requires a ton of work.

I signed up for Intro to Psych had to retake it due to length of time. Had option to CLEP, but decided just to retake it bring myGPA from my previous degree.

Figured will try to get into a program by 2018.
