Advice Needed: From Bedside to Tech

Hi!

I need some advice or pointers on dabbling in the world of Tech or Computer Science.

I am an ICU nurse with 4 years of experience and currently  traveling. I want to eventually not be at bedside full time and dabble into coding or graphic design. That or jobs more so with working with computers and creating/designing documents or software. I considered nursing informatics but I want to be sure it is something that I want to do before jumping into student loans again.

 

Does any one have any recommendations, tips, or people I could email to get further insight?
