DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GO ABOUT GETTING ADVANCED CERTIFICATIONS SUCH AS: CCLPN, CELPN, OR COLPNicon5.gif:monkeydance:

What do those acronyms stand for? I know I sound ignorant, but if they seem attainable, I would try it, too!

I Have Spent The Past Hour Or So On Line Trying To Find Out More Information. It's Hopeless. Everything I Found Was In Reference To Cen(emergency Certified Nurse) And You Had To Be An Rn Already. I Know That The Celpn Exsist But I Don't Know How To Obtain The Information About Getting Started. Can Anyone Help Me With This???

The only certifications I know of is through NAPNES... you may want to try them...

I cannot find any information about courses like this for LPNs either. How did you hear of it? If you know someone who has the certification, can you ask them where they got it?

I have heard about something similar for LPN's,but I don't know of anyone, everyone including myself is trying to go into RN,but I figured if I can get an extra certification in emergency medicine which is what I want to do maybe I can bypass a step. I read in other forums here involving RN's that this does exist, but the last reply to that was in 2002
