2016 ADN forsyth tech

I just got done with my MAR review and have 144 points. Of course, I'm missing three classes from the prerequisite change that I'm currently taking so hopefully I still have enough to get in.

How about you? I'm nervous!

I applied with 134 points. I'm super nervous. If they wouldn't have changed the prerequisites I would have had 159 points í ½í¸£. So I'm retaking 3 classes as well this semester...

Those classes they changed I made A's in ;(

Same here! I'm just hoping that a ton more people are in the same boat as we are! The thing that ticks me off the most is that we had the option to take the classes that we're having to take over...just chose to do the WRONG ones! I'm interested in seeing what other people's points are!

I definitely agree with you. Tomorrow is the deadline so i will keep you posted if I hear anything or get a letter.... hopefully an acceptance letter.

She told me we should hear something by the end of October and if not to call and check. You can also see on Techlink under your profile whether or not you get in before you get your letter. It'll change from gen occ pre nursing to adn...or something along those lines.

Hi guys, I also applied with 130 points. I was accepted at GTCC as an alternate but I want to keep all options open in case I don't get a seat. They took away those classes there also so everone was upset. Were the first semester to deal with these changes so im interested to know the lowest amount of points accepted. Please keep me posted. I am so anxious to know if we got in. I hope and pray to see you guys at orientation. Good luck!!!

Hello, I hope we all get in this spring as well. When I applied for fall 2015 I was taking 2 classes and was alternate 23 or 24 at ftcc and the other school I applied to I was 15. I believe we have a good chance of getting accepted since the ranking points changed and a lot of people decided to wait to apply for fall 2016...

I asked at my MAR why the state did away with those classes. She told me that since most hospitals want a bachelors that they made it easier for ADNs to transfer to BSN. So in a sense they're helping us. Just makes me angry that they didn't give us some sort of a heads up!! Anywho the points should be lower this year so we all still have a chance! And the waiting game begins...
