Depending on your geographic location, a job is not guaranteed regardless of whether you have an ADN or BSN degree. Some locations have stable employment markets for new grad RNs, whereas other cities and states are overly saturated with too many new grads.employment wise, i'd like a guarantee somewhat of a job.
It honestly depends on your area. Certain areas have way too any new grads so they can be picky about who they hire. Others are in need of nurses so they hire ADNs and BSNs. There is never a guarantee of a job upon graduation. The nursing job market is like any other and experiences ebbs and flows.

Hello All,
I am trying to decide on what program I should do. I already have a bachelors degree, but I also have a few prerequisites to finish up before I can apply. Once I am done with my prerequisites, I would like to apply to either an adn or bsn program.
Thanks in Advance!
