Act tips

Fellow nursing students & pre nursing students!!! A lil help here!!!! Lol okay I've sent off all my stuff for nursing school, application, my grades are on point &I know I got this butttttttttttttt there's one thing that totally hit me by suprise! Instead of taking all of these entrance exams I've seen many talk about we must have a certain act score which is an average score! I took my act 4 years ago and let me tell u, I really didn't know the importance of it and my score wasn't that awesome. My act only has to improve 2 points in order to be alright for acceptance into my nursing school! Eventho I've learned so much between that time, I'm still nervous( I always over worry about things) can anyone share your scores as any tips!

If you have college credits you don't need your ACT scores.

Like the above poster, I am also confused on why you would need your ACT scores. Unless it's optional.

They sent me a letter saying they recieved my transcripts from high school and college however, I will have to retake my act! Trust me if I didn't have to , I wouldn't but you have to have a certain act score for acceptance

It's listed under the requirements

My school requires your ACT regardless of college credits.

Buy a book and take the practice tests. That's what I did.

I've been taking practice test it's in 2 weeks so I've just been looking over test taking strategies to deal with the time( because times test are harder for me) and brushing up on some math

My school requires your ACT regardless of college credits. Mines do also!!!!! I'd rather take the act than one of those other entrance exams thoe
Specializes in CNA.

My school too is making me take the ACT again.

My school too is making me take the ACT again.when do u have to retake it&&& what have u been working on in order to make sure ur ready??? I only wanna take it this one time so I must do good!!!! This is holding up my acceptance letter

Some schools have ACT work shops, may want to look into that...
