ACNP

Can anyone tell me or send a link, as to what the job market is like for ACNP. From the ICU's I have worked in I have only been to one where they are utilized and it seemed (at the time) the competition was fierce. However it was a major teaching hospital in a nurse flooded market of Nashville. I'm just wondering if I go that route if there are enough jobs available to them. Also since I am just now starting to research can someone tell me where most ACNP's find employment? I'm assuming ICU and ER hospital settings mostly...right?

    Much depends on the area. I'm in central IL at a large level 1 tertiary hospital (700+ beds) and ACNPs are utilized in the ICU as are CNSs
