I just recently moved to Las Vegas after living in Germany. My ACLS card has expired and trying to get a job without it seems problematic.
I have tried looking online for classes. Does anybody have any recommendations where to do it? Do the hospitals accept online courses?

Here's an allnurses thread asking if online ACLS certification is acceptable.

I recommend you contact some area hospitals to see when they're conducting the course, and if you could take it there (as a non-employee).
The AHA's site has a window into which one's zip code is entered, and a new window will appear with classes in your area.

Thank you. Now that the holidays are over, I will be making some phone calls.
Good luck! :)

I am just starting to check in to this also.
If you find out any info I would appreciate it if you could pass it also.

I just completed my 2 day class this week with Medic West. They were very nice and the instructor was great. I would definitely recommend them. I plan on doing my PALS with them too.
Look at their website or call them to find out when their next class would be. I also like the location; I did not have to drive down to the strip.

Also if you need practice on the rhythm strips, this is a great website to practice on.

Good luck.

Check with the hospital as to continuing ed, ACLS PALS etc. Most places will not accept online ACLS or PALS in my experience, because there is no hands on portion.

I did my BLS here. It was inexpensive and they also do ACLS. I was very, very happy with them.
