Achieve Test Prep?

Hello!

I am an LPN from Pennsylvania. I have been researching on line programs. Has anyone gone through Achieve test prep/Excelsior to obtain an ASN or BSN? And.......I checked with the PA state board of approved schools.....Excelsior is not on it. Will PA let one sit for the NCLEX if the requirements are met through Excelsior?

This list of approved programs on the PA BON website only has PA schools on it. Excelsior is located in New York. Students who complete nursing programs in other states are allowed to take the NCLEX in PA. Contact the PA BON if you have any questions.

I know many RNs who completed the Excelsior program.

If you look at the PA BON list you won't find Achieve Test Prep there. That's because Achieve Test Prep is not a school.

They just want your money, you can do it on your own and save yourself the thousands you'd end up paying them. Go directly through Excelsior. If you want to spend that extra money just go through a regular program brick & mortar college - they have real teachers. Community college programs are usually cheaper than private university programs.

Hi I am too interested in achieve test prep did you find out any more information?

Did you read the above posts? Achieve Test Prep is not a school, it is a publishing company that sells study guides. If you use them, you will spend a lot more than needed.

Excelsior College is the school that you will get the degree through, deal only with them.
