Access to nursing interview.

Hi, i was wondering if anyone on here could help me out.

I've got an interview for an access to nursing course at college and I'm so scared and feel so unprepared even though I've looked over a lot of stuff.

would anyone have any idea of what questions may be asked? and what the hour long written assignment will be on? I really want this and I'm so scared that I'm so underprepared.

Thanks, Sophie xx

Moved to Pre-Nursing. Let us know how the interview goes!

I had an interview for a masters for entry to nursing program and questions were along the lines of:

What attributes do you have that would make you a good nurse?

What experiences have you had that have prepared you to work with the diverse families, cultures, and patients you will encounter as a nurse?

Describe a moral dilemma and how you resolved it.

What do you believe are the 3 most important qualities of a nurse?

They stressed to us that we don't necessarily need to know the ins and outs of nursing but to have a good base knowledge and to be able to speak to how your experience this far can be utilized as a nurse. Of course, this program is designed for people who have another undergraduate degree and are most likely second career nursing hopefuls. So your program may be a bit different. I would prepare for it the same way you would prepare for a job interview ?
