Congrats! I'm a late bloomer too. Beginning 2nd year of ADN at age 50. You'll get a lot of great advice on here and you can search old threads about starting nursing school. It's a culture shock at first.
Thanks Lori

Change your user name to something totally anonymous.
2 ears, 2 eyes, 1 mouth. Remember the ratio.
Nursing school material isn't really difficult, but there is a lot of information to assimilate. Understand the concepts, especially those learned in a&p II, and you'll do fine.
Get an nclex study guide and do the practice questions for each area as you cover it in school. Reinforces knowledge and gives you practice for the test itself.
Have fun.

Ratio? Is that like, see no evil, hear no evil, do no evil? Lol. Tried to change it and it doesn't let me.
That ratio means look & listen twice as much as you talk.
