I recently got accepted into 2 Grad Schools for MSN FNP programs. I am also waiting on the response of another university as well. I am having a hard time deciding which school is best for me. I keep getting good vibes from people, but I am having a hard time telling which school is the best option for me. All my choices are online with 1-2 on-campus visits. All schools area around the same cost. I guess I'm afraid of making the wrong decision. Any help would be greatly appreciated. P.S. I feel like choosing a school for my ASN and BSN was a lot easier than this.

Do both programs provide clinical placement? If you do not have 100% guaranteed preceptors that you lined up yourself, I would personally choose the program that finds you preceptors.
All of the grad schools help in one way or another. Some help a little more in that they find the sites for you or they give you options and make the best recommendations.

Just my personal experience being in FNP school... My school "helps with clinical". I assumed this meant they helped find placement and I was very much incorrect. They send the paperwork when you find one. That's about it. Many people sit out due to not enough preceptors available in the area. It's a lot tougher than I even imagined and I knew going in it would be difficult.

Some schools say they "help" and what they mean is that they do the paperwork (the easy part) or will give you a list of previously used preceptors that you still have to call and harass yourself. I would (and did) choose the school that assigns you preceptors without you having to participate. My school allows you to use your own preceptor if they meet the qualifications, but we are not expected to find our own in any of their programs and that is a huge relief especially when I talk to coworkers who are stressed about finding preceptors.
If you don't mind me asking, what school are you attending?

Me? My school is B&M with no online programs. You can message me if you still want to know.
