Accepted to Chamberlain!!

Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Hi everyone! I was recently accepted to Chamberlain (new Tinley Park location) and I have a few questions. I took the drug/background check last week and have not heard back yet so I'm assuming everything's clear and I am scheduled to come in and register for classes on Tuesday. My advisor said that day we are also taking ID pictures.

Anyone who goes to Chamberlain how does registration work, do you get to choose which classes you take? I also have new student orientation on the 28th, what goes on there?

Specializes in Family Practice.

Congratulations! My registration they already had the classes I needed to take planned out for my whole 2 years there. So it was just registering for the ones I needed those sessions. My orientation is this Thursday so I'm not sure how that goes.

I just finished taking my Hesi A2 with a 96% overall score. My advisor told me yesterday that he submitted my paperwork and that it will take about two weeks before I find out if I am accepted or not. I'm so nervous. How are your classes going so far?

Congrads!!!!Did you all apply for the fall or spring? I applied for the the spring and got accepted as well.

I applied for the Spring semester which starts Jan 6th I believe. Congrats on getting accepted!! I hope I hear good news soon!

If you have a 96% on the Hesi and 2.75 your basically in the program.

Really? Well then that's awesome. I only have high school but I had a 3.85 gpa in high school, even though that was 15 years ago.

:***:

Congrats on being accepted!!

I'm so nervous...but I've also recently applied and looking to start Jan 6th. I have a meeting with my advisor on Friday. I still have to take the A2, but I think I will do fairly well. I've been under the assumption that the meeting with the admissions advisor is like an interview...?

Is this true? I am so nervous that I won't be accepted. In HS I think I averaged a 3.7 GPA? And the 4 semesters at community college have me at a 2.75 (I was an unmotivated adolescent). Although now, I am very motivated and received straight A's in my last semester. Is there anything academically that would concretely exclude me from the program?

You can have a 2.75 but you'll be on the hold list until they fit you in. It depends on space available.

I got accepted to Chamberlain!! I got the phone call yesterday!! So excited!!

Congratsss!!! I knew you would get in. What campus are you attending?

Thank you!! I am so excited and nervous!
