Acceptance Issue

I interviewed at a CRNA program and about two weeks later called and was told congrats your in. Called Two weeks later to see when I was going to receive my packet and was told I would receive it via email later that week. I did receive and email with the packet an hour later also received a letter saying my file was under review. Called the curriculum coordinator that sent me the emails and was told the information she received stated I was still under review and she mistakenly sent me the packet. She tried to contact the anesthesia dept. but my luck they left early due to the holiday. Now I have to wait until Tuesday to find out if this was just a mix up. Anyone else have this unfortunate experience?

No, but I just wanted to say how stinky. I know that doesn't sound very professional but neither are their actions. Bummer when they can't do their jobs right and get people upset like this. Hold on; I know it's going to be a long holiday weekend but try to have some fun . You can't change what's happened so don't ruin your weekend over it. Good luck

My daughter was a high school senior and received a telephone call from a college stating she was accepted into the nursing program. She was jubilliant. About one week later she received a letter in the mail telling her she was not accepted into the nursing program but that they would accept her in the college in another major. She was devastated. I called the college and the admissions office reported they made a mistake with the phone call. Two months later they sent her an acceptance package for the nursing program. Needless to say, she is not going to that college. She was accepted into several other colleges and chose one of the others.

If the college is that disorganized, just imagine what you will hae to go through to graduate.

Good luck.

All seems a bit odd. Usually decisions are made regarding applicants all at the same general time, and before any telephone (bad practice anyway in my view) congratulations go out to anyone, or packets or letter go out....again all at once. Perhaps, since the curriculum coordinator seems to need to call people for the facts, she is not in the loop.

Try to enjoy the weekend.
