Accelerated degree programs

I am considering getting my degree through a one year accelerated nursing program for people who have degrees in another subject. My degree is in Computer science.

Are there any nurses who received their degree through an accelerated program. If so, how many people dropped the program? Would you recommend it?

Thanks for the information on the accelerated programs. I still have not decided. Even though it is a one year program, it will take at least a year before I finish the Chemistry requirements. I will need to take College algebra before I can even take the first of two chemistry classes.

Maisie,

I should think you might want to try it. I am sure you can do it. If it is just to much, I would think they would let you back up to the traditional program.

You can do it. You can do it!

However, at the same time I push myself to extremes in everything that I do. In sales, everyone is like that. It is the norm. I dont think it is the norm in other professions.

Surgery tends to be that way, from what I understand. The degree of expertise some of these ppl have is just amazing to me.
