ACCELERATED BSN - most affordable program?

Hello,

I am in need of some help and am hoping one of you can shed some knowledge on me.

I currently have a B.S. in Kinesiology. Therefore, I believe I am eligible for the accelerated BSN program. I live in Southern CA, and based on my research, most of the So-cal BSN programs are around $60k, however, I would like to stay on the lower end of tuition average.

I did see that Cal State LA is about 32K for the 15-month course, which is very reasonable. Do you or do you know anyone that has been accepted to the Cal State LA, A-BSN program and would be able to tell me how the application process was for you?

Further, would anyone be able to let me know of any other Colleges offering A-BSN programs that are around the same tuition fee, and how the application process was for them?

THANK YOU!

LIZ

Moved to School/College Programs forum.

-CSULA & CSUF = most affordable 15 month ABSN program (extremely competitive application pool)

-CSUSM = 24 month ABSN program for $55k (easiest to get into IMO)

-Concordia = 15 month ABSN program for $50k

-MSMU = 13 month (?) ABSN program for $70k

If you have great stats then I would suggest applying for the cal state programs. If you have okay stats but lots of work experience then you have a good chance at the private programs.

Out of state programs:

UMass Boston ABSN 16 months 37K

UConn BS/CEIN (aka ABSN) 15 months 34K

Thomas Jefferson University 12 months 47K
