About to start my journey

I just got accepted into vista colleges nursing program. I am so excited. I'm not just doing this for me I'm also doing it for my son . I'm a single parent and I want him to have a good life. The only thing that brings me down at times is that my work seems so unsupportive. I work as a cna. I love my job but want more. Hmmmmm

I hopefully will find out more this week about it becasue Im not too familiar with per diem. I just hope Im still making enough..I'm supossed to start school in October. O rientation is in September anad they want a deposit.

I work at a nursing home. Their rule is just that I'm required to work 1 shift a month but they will call me if they need me and I can say yes or no.
