I thought that I read somewhere that AAMC had an RN program that worked with AACC but I'm not sure. Does anyone know anything about that?

I just finished my first semester at AACC. My GPA for the pre-req courses was a 3.5. I applied in the fall of 2009 with a 3.2, was not accepted. They said the average was 3.5. So I took 2 classes over and got accepted for Spring 2010. I heard one person say they only had a 3.0 and got waitlisted, but they got in. So it really does vary a lot from fall to spring applicants.

It is all GPA driven, they said the names go into a spreadsheet in order of GPA....first 72 get acceptance lettters and an additional 20 get waitlist letters. And they only count your required pre-req classes when calculating your gpa.....not your overall gpa for the college or previously earned degrees.

Good luck to all that applied!
