Anyone who has ever worked a home trach or vent case knows how horribly LOUD suction machines designed for home use are.

Is there a brand that is not so danged noisy?

Not that I have ever seen or used. You would probably just have to use a straw if you want it quiet. ;)

I just watched the video on the Medela website! Holy canoli it's quiet. Gonna recommend this to our DME right now!

I used to work for a DME company. They will buy the cheapest unit they can get. That's why you see things like suction catheter brands change. They order based off of the cheapest thing they can get. The employees get bonuses based off of profit.
