A and P question

Hello everyone!!

I am studying A and P. I have the college network book for this. I also have the text book. There is so much much more info in the text book that is not in the college network book. Why is this? Don't I have to know all the info in the text book? Or is the college network info enough?

Thanks,

Kathy

akappyann,

I took A & P in November, and I also had a guide from TCN and my textbook from the 1 semester course I had in A & P. TCN's guides are the scaled down version, just what you need to know to get through the test. Sometimes I needed to go to the textbook to get a more in depth explanation so I could wrap my mind around some of those concepts. For the most part I studied from the TCN guide.

Just let me add -- one of the most important things is to download and print the EC exam content guide, and use that as your study outline; otherwise you could just study into oblivion and never feel ready. I had also tried to get through the Martini textbook before I ended up with a TCN guide. I'd already had a class called "Human Biology" which was essentially A&P without a lab, so between that, the TCN guide, and some random textbook readings for reinforcement, I ended up with a B on the exam.

Good luck!
