A change in plans

Published

Well, a lot of you have seen me post about the problems I was having at my job at the police department. Well, last week, things really came to a head and got pretty ugly. When it was all over, I resigned.

While at first, I was pretty worried, my wife and I decided that instead of viewing this as a setback, and withdrawing from school...we decided I'll do whatever it takes, even if it includes borrowing enough money to go to school full time in the fall. The RN program is full though, so I'm going into the LPN program, then will try to get into the RN Program next year. The good thing is, I'll be an LPN by next august, instead of 2007. I hope it all works out the way I'd like.

Tim,

just wanted to pop on here and wish you good luck! i'm sure things will work out in the end! it's always nice to have a back up plan, and i think that by you going into the LPN program, it will give you a lot of experiance, plus the added income when you go get your RN!

i may be in the same boat as you if i don't get into my program for this fall...again good luck and let us know what happens!

Thanks Tasha! I hope they do too. I was about to drop out of school this semester and get our money back, but my wife said my nursing degree will save our butts lol.

Just wanted to wish you lots of luck!

You're gonna be great! ;)

Best of everything to you~
