75

Hi everyone,

I am new here. I discovered this forum after taking my nclex yesterday. I can honestly say, (which from reading others' posts, I'm not alone), that I feel like I totally bombed it. I felt like I missed the easiest questions possible. I had a ton of SATAs, one math, some priority (who would you see first) and delegation (the ones where they ask who would you assign to a ped nurse on a med/surg thing), and some questions on OB/Peds and legal/ethics. A lot of meds, that I'm sure I didnt do too well on either. My test shut off at 75, and I was hoping for more, because I felt like I was below the passing requirement. I feel awful, anxious, and scared. I've read many success stories with 75 and some unfortunate ones, and I am aware that there is an 85% chance of passing. I just can't shake the feeling that I failed.

I try to keep positive though, even with that thought in my head. :) Hoping for the best!

i know how you feel, i'm the same boat! i took it this morning. we just have to wait for our results to know for sure!

doesn't it suck?? i wish you the best of luck, though :)

Thank you all! It's a great feeling to know the results. :) My nerves are finally calm after two days. It was total torture!

kbearn,

congratulations!!!

I haven't tested yet but our meds pub lady reviewer who writes questions for the boards told us that if you have a float nurse who has to be assigned to someone in pediatrics, give them the school age child becuase that age group is most like an adult med-surg patient (they don't want to disappoint the nurse and conditions can be similar).

Anyway, that's what we were told.
