New Grad Nurse Endoscopy Unit Interview

Hey everyone!!!

I am an interview tomorrow for an Endoscopy Unit (and I literally just found this out a few minutes ago). I am currently a new grad with no experience and it's been almost a year since I graduated. I'm super rusty with my nursing skills but I've been slowly trying to read up over the course of the months with all my textbooks. Though, this interview caught me off guard and the GI system is something that's so broad I'm not exactly sure what to focus on in order to prepare for this interview. I have been anticipating GI clinical scenario type questions as well, so I'm extremely, extremely nervous....

So I really wanted to ask allnurses for advice on this! Coming from your interviews, what types of clinical scenario questions would an Endoscopy Unit ask? Or behavioral questions for that matter? I'd honestly love allll the help!!!!!

I didn't see your post until Friday afternoon. I feel badly that no one got a chance to respond. Hope it went okay?

Hi!! I am basically in your same situation. Could you tell me how your interview went? What kind of questions you were asked please?

Thank you!! :)

My first job out of Nursing School as in an Endoscopy Unit. I honestly did not remember the Interview. I do remember that they liked the fact I was a Patient Care Tech in the ER ( read I wasn't afraid of Codes). That proved handy.
