I took my exam today at 8am... I had 263 questions and it took me about 3 hours. The first time I had 254 questions in 2.5 hours. So needless to say I was panicking when the exam kept going and going, but I tried to keep calm. I felt good about my answers as I was going, but I will say I had some REALLY off the wall questions about stuff I had never heard of.

After I left and got to my car, I tried the "new trick" I used a Credit card that was closed so there was no risk of them actually charging me. I entered all my info in and hit submit and got the good pop up!!!!

Im beyond excited. My state takes part in the unofficial results after 48 hours, so Ill be paing the $8 Friday .

My studying included watching all of the Hurst Review videos, completing PrepU nclex-rn 10,000 quizzes up to mastery level 8 and did Lippincott Nclex review quizzes from the book. I did a between 7000-8000 questions in 3 weeks, reading every rationale even if I got the question correct. I also googled EKG rhythm strip quizzes to use. I literally studied from the time I woke up until the time I went to bed. I have a child, but thankfully my fiancé was able to keep him busy, and my parents helped out too.

This time around, I felt really really good about the questions. I was able to tell I was getting a lot right... there were still some way off the wall questions and med questions what were so far out there, lol, but I didn't panic. I tried to keep a level head. I did have to take a few breaks, just to calm my nerves, but that was the best thing for me to do. As soon as I felt my anxiety raising, I took a break. I highly recommend it. I was able to sit back down semi-refreshed and was able to focus.

And try not to panic if you surpass the amount of questions that you did the first time. My eyes filled with tears when I passed the 254th question (that's where it shut off the 1st time and I failed) I just made sure I slowed down.

One thing I did this time was when I read the question, I read it TWICE before looking at ANY of the possible answers and I tried to think it through in my head before looking at the choices. a few I had to read 3 or 4 times before I totally understood what it was trying to ask. so do that, too
