Job descriptions -school nurses

Hello,

I am looking for job descriptions for RNs and LPNs working in school nursing. I am a school nurse working in SC and we are trying to revise them. What a difficult task!

Does anyone have copies they are willing to share?

I moved your thread to the school nursing forum, possibly for a better response. Good Luck.

Illinois has sample job descriptions for the on its professional group website: http://www.IASN.org

In Illinois, only certified nurses can submit health summaries for special education assessments, particpate in IEP meetings, etc. So there are 3 descriptions: Certified nruse, registered nurse and health aide.
