what kind of contract with a sponsor ?

Hello everybody,

I am a nurse from France and I will take my NCLEX in January. I was wondering what kind of contract I would have with a sponsor. I heard that I would have to stay some years working at the same hospital which would sponsor me. Could someone give me a more specific answer about it or share an experience?

Thank you in advance.

Contracts are normally for two to three years. You are not being sponsored, since there are no more temporary work permits issued to nurses. The word that you want is petitioned, as for a green card.

Good luck................ :balloons:
