Help Fixing Up My Resume??

Hello fellow nurses,

I am a school RN who start school nursing right out of school (Dec 2011) because I had no luck getting a job in the hospitals I applied to. Now I am eager to get my foot in the door because I'm losing my clinical skills and want to apply to FNP school one day soon! I wanted to see if anyone could help fix up my resume? I've applied to 23 RN job positions in the last month and all have turned me down! (I have applied to many peds positions, mother baby, rehab, psych, neuro, outpatient surgery, GI labs). Any help would be greatly appreciated and I will PM it to you!

PM to me and I'll give it a try. If you don't have job description for school nursing job, put something on there. Also make sure you have any nursing technician work on resume along with any customer service type job. Join the ANA and put that on resume. License number should be on there and CPR. If don't have ACLS get it. Try not to apply to too many specialties in one hospital. Looks desperate. If you want to work mother baby, take a doula class and put that on your resume. Start volunteering in hospital and they might take notice of you. Get in touch with peds manager. Say you are a school nurse and are interested in leading some fun activities for the children on the unit.
