Discussion

Pregnancy, nausea, and nursing.

Anyone have any advice on getting through this? I work on a surgical floor, with a lot of heavy lifting. The nausea is awful. I am tired all the time but can't sleep for more than an hour or two without waking because of the nausea. Zofran kind of helps when I am home, but is not helping when I am working. The smells are killing me. After a 12 hour shift I am sick all day. My dr said when I get to the second trimester I should feel better, but I am wondering how much longer I can make it. Anyone been through this? Sea bands are not helping either. I need to hear from all of you who got through it and made it work. Not working is not an option. No day shifts open. I need to make this work.
