May 26, 200422 yr right, as long as you passed it the first time and hold a current license in the state you currently practice in. There will be a license fee and you will have to fill out a truckload of paperwork. There is a name for this and for the life of me I can't think of it, it is right on the tip of my tongue. I will think of it later, when I am trying to go to sleep. lol

Go to the new state, request a license (fill out the forms they will privide - most inline now too) and send them in. The new state will contact your old state and then proccess your license. I've been licensed in many states. It's essentially the same in each one.
May 26, 200422 yr go to http://www.ncsbn.org/regulation/boardsofnursing_boards_of_nursing_board.asp it is the website for the national council of state boards of nursing and has direct links to the boards of nursing for all 50 states. has a lot of hand info. i found it by accident! hope it helps!
May 27, 200422 yr Hey guys...Just wanted to mention that several states now participate in the mutual compact agreement. I received my license in my state...but paid a little extra for the license so my license is accepted in all participating states. In other words, I don't need to get a license in each of these states. Check this out with your SBON...you should also find a list of participating states online somewhere...
