Hello I hope someone can help,

I just got of the phone with the German Health Department in Cologne and I am very confused/ frustrated. I explained to her what I need (my Diploma and the papeers filled out "Request for validation of Diploma") for CGFNS.

She told me that they wont fill out the papers insteed she will write a "letter of good standing" and a "European Union Statement" that I can work as a nurse. But in order to get that they want a police clearance ceritifacte from Germany and the US and a "health certificate" saying I am able to work as a nurse.

I don't really understand is that right like that a friend of mine said she didn't have to do all this and what about that they wont fill out that paper will CGFNS accept it like that?

The think is the state needs to know that your training meets their requirements so generally a copy of your training transcripts is required
