Does anyone know if MacuHealth with LMZ3 is contraindicated for people allergic to eggs? My mom's doctor put her on it earlier this week, and now (Saturday night) she has fire-red palms and soles, rash on tops of feet, back of hands, and wrists and ankles, with a few spots on her abdomen. She says it itches and feels hot. She first noticed it on her wrist this morning and thought poison ivy but it's certainly not that.
The darned stuff is a supplement, and I can't find online information for it.
She has an allergy to eggs, and also has severe penicillin allergy, and is allergic to almost all antibiotics except erythromycin. She is not taking any antibiotics, and her other meds have been the same for 2+ years with no problems. I told her to call her doc.
The supplement is MacuHealth with LMZ3 by MacuHealth LLC, ( meso-zeaxanthin, lutein, zeaxanthin )
Thanks!
