HELP PLEASE!

Hey everyone! I am currently a 2nd year nursing student and I got called for an interview at Kaiser. After the initial conversation with the recruiter, he called me back and left a message informing me to bring my current CPR certification and CNA certification. I AM NOT CNA CERTIFIED! Does anyone know if they accept 1 year in nursing school in place of CNA certification?

ummm if you look at the "minimum qualifications" on the job posting, it usually says "Certified NA OR completed at least 1 year of nursing school". just clarify with HR but it shouldn't be a problem.

How did it go?? For what position??

if you're a nursing student, you should have like your dean of students write you a letter saying you completed the courses required that taught all the skills of a nurse aide (usually the fundamentals course). I went to HPU and had the dean of student back when i completed Level 1 write a letter saying i completed Fundamentals, Health Assessment, and Therapeutic COmmunication. and i agree with cubed45 to just clarify with them.

Tlblancaflor, I got the job! Yay =D

Thanks guys for the advice. I ended up just giving them my official transcripts and they accepted that. The job is per diem which is good for now while I'm in school, however, because my availability is limited and they have multiple people bidding for shifts, I don't get to work as often as I would like. I probably don't need to be working any more anyway. Again, thanks guys!
