Patho

I have Patho as a pre req, but I've noticed at some schools it's part of the Nursing core.

Just wondering what everyone else has? Also, do you recommend taking Patho online or as an EC exam?

Hey there...

At my school..patho (NURS 225) is part of the nursing core courses...taken junior year, but they have changed the curriculum (sp) and students will now take it sophomore year 2nd semester

It's a core course for us -- in the equivalent of a sophomore year. I don't know that I'd ever take Patho online... I've taken online courses and patho is just one of those where you need to see the teacher, ask questions, and get the entire picture with a whole LOT of content.

I'll be a jr in the spring... woohoo... and patho is one of my main courses. I'm glad to be taking it in the class... I'm sure that I will have lots of things that need explanation and want a physical being to answer them.

Thank God it is over. I just finished Patho in an accelerated formate that lasted 10 weeks. It went by sooooo fast and the teacher wasn't very good. However, I thank God I got a B for my final grade. It was intense though.
