anyone taken the EC Foundations of Gerontology exam?

Has anyone taken the EC Foundations of Geronotology exam? I am taking this exam on Thursday evening. I thought I was doing pretty good but now I'm not so sure. Any advice or tips will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I thought I read a couple of times that people found this exam to be difficult. Good luck.

Not sure what you are looking for but remember everything is decreased with geriatrics, confusing and pain is not part of growing old. Age and risk factors - family relationship, afraid of losing freedom- diet, either use more salt or sugar, lose muscle mass - education still can learn but differently as everyone does at different pace. Mobility------so many things to hit on. Good luck

Thanks for all the input. I really appreciate it. As for what credit it counts for... I'm not sure. In the little handout from Excelsior it is under Arts and Science Electives. Again thanks for all the input. Hopefully I'll do ok.

I do not know if it is the same exam as I took, but it really did not have very much about the pathophysiology of getting old in the material. It tests you about the whole picture of a person. It went into Medicare and what a person in that age group responsibilities and what is important to them. Just to give you a heads up.

Best of luck,
