Need advice...

Hi everyone!

Any current RN students at the Akron Institute, or recent Akron Institute grads out there reading this post? If so, please reply! I have a few questions on the program/school I'd like to ask.... Thank you so much for your time! :heartbeat

Hi StudentGrace!

Thank you so much for the reply, and congrats on being in your third term! :heartbeat

I will give you a quick background... I was an average student in high school, and have two years of undergrad completed, with average grades. I have been out of college for 4 years and I'm worried about returning to school. I dream of being a nurse and am hoping my passion is strong enough to drive me through school. My biggest obstacle, I must work while in school, with all my prereqs completed, do you think I will have time to work? Do you like the Akron Institute, would you recommend it? Can you give me an idea what the program is like? And finally... I had applied to the Jan 2010 and was accepted, but did not receive enough financial aid (I was still a dependent), thus I could not attend. I will be reapplying for Sept. 2010, with months before the start date, is there anything I can do or should be doing to prepare myself?

Again StudentGrace, thank you so much for taking the time to help, I appreciate any advice you can provide!! :)
